Undergraduate course in Music / Musical Education

 Professional Profile:

Young people and adults, graduated from high school, who wish to enter the musical teaching career. Professionals in the music field who do not yet have specific training. The basic assignment of the Music undergraduate student is the teaching in Basic Education, which requires solid knowledge on the fundamentals of Music, as well as its historical trajectory and its relations with several areas of knowledge.

Scope of activity:

In addition to acting directly in teaching, in the sphere of didactic-pedagogical action-reflection-action in the teaching-learning processes of music in its most varied forms and cultural manifestations, the undergraduate student in Music can elaborate and analyze didactic materials, such as books, texts , videos, computer programs, virtual learning environments, among others. He will also be able to work as a researcher in Music teaching, coordinate and supervise work teams, in the scope of teaching, research and extension.
