In line with general and specific goals of the course, the Technician in Electrotechnology will have a strong performance in all areas of this sector, being able to labor in different working modalities, both in industry and in the provision of services. According to the National Catalog of Technical Courses, their performance will be in the planning, execution and supervision of installation, operation and maintenance services of electrical systems, equipment and appliances, through interpretation of drawings, templates, diagrams and projects in general. This professional can elaborate technical drawings, carry out predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance in electrotechnology, in addition to participating in technical team qualification activities.



Scope of activity:

They install, operate and maintain elements of generation, transmission and distribution of electric energy. They participate in the design and development of projects of electrical installations and infrastructure for telecommunications systems in buildings. They work in the planning and execution of the installation and maintenance of equipment and electrical installations. They apply measures for the efficient use of electric energy and alternative energy sources. They participate in the project and install electric drive systems. They perform installation and maintenance of lighting and safety signaling.
