Technician Training Course – Subsequent Mode – in Labor Safety
Professional Profile:
The training of the Technician in Labor Safety focuses on the understanding of the complexity of work relations, acting in the evaluation and control of the factors that cause risks both to the health and the safety of the worker, reducing work accidents and their consequences.
Based on multidisciplinary knowledge, developed in theoretical and practical classes, in reading and in case studies, students will obtain an integrated view of the risks to the health and safety of the worker and of the people in general. The students will also have knowledge of the appropriate techniques available for their management, seeking the health and integrity of the worker and the quality of the work environment.
The Technical Course in Labor Safety enables the student to develop practical activities that, in addition to applying and expanding the knowledge acquired, promote interdisciplinarity and teamwork.
The course seeks to train Labor Safety Technicians aware of their role in society, who will act with responsibility and professional ethics, having a proactive attitude towards issues and situations that expose the worker to risks.
Scope of activity:
The Labor Safety Technician is qualified to work in companies (public and private) of different sizes and sectors of the economy such as: industries, hospitals, commerce, construction, ports and airports, oil and gas platforms and refineries, logistics, teaching institutions, manufacturing and representation of safety equipment and consulting and training companies related to labor safety.
