The technician in Ship Building is a High School professional able to perform functions aware of the discourses and knowledge that underlie the foundation of life in society; to take part in technological and scientific advances, in issues related to the environment, health and preservation of the worker, in valuing the pleasure of achieving self-fulfillment projects; and mainly, to show commitment and responsibility with moral and ethical values oriented for citizenship.

Scope of activity:

The field of activity of the Ship Building technician covers actions of production, installation, operation, maintenance, control and optimization in continuous and discrete processes, located, predominantly, in the segment of the naval industry. These activities include the environmental and services segment, as well as participation in the design, planning and supervision of processes related to its area and execution of research operations, quality control and operational safety.
