High-School-Integrated to Vocational Training Course in Oil and Gas
Professional Profile:
The Oil and Gas Technician is a High School graduate capable of performing functions with full mastery of the discourses and knowledge that permeate the construction of life in society and participation in the technological and scientific advances themselves, in the problems involving the environment, health and safety of the worker, in the valorization of the pleasure in concretizing the project of self-realization and, mainly, the commitment and the responsibility with ethical and moral values guided towards citizenship.
Scope of activity:
This professional develops activities aimed at exploration, drilling and production of oil and gas and derivatives, acting in the programming, planning and execution of the maintenance of machinery and equipment, in the production of oil and natural gas. They determine dimensional properties and quantities of rocks, fluids and materials for the oil and natural gas industry. The professional can act in the location of reserves, in great part of the oil and gas production chain, such as production platforms, refineries, biofuel and petrochemical plants. They also work in the support for industries, contributing to the quality control of products and to the development of safety, environment and health.
