FOLIA DE REIS: UMA EXPERIÊNCIA DE APROXIMAÇÃO ENTRE A EDUCAÇÃO PROFISSIONAL E TECNOLÓGICA E A TRADIÇÃO CULTURAL DO NOROESTE FLUMINENSE

A dissertação a seguir apresenta os resultados da aplicação de uma proposta de aprendizagem cooperativa que teve como objeto de estudo o patrimônio cultural imaterial representado pela Folia de Reis, aqui entendida como expressão ritual de grupos de devotos de santos reis.
O trabalho teve como área recorte a região Noroeste Fluminense, mais especificamente a microrregião Itaperuna. O objetivo principal desta pesquisa foi analisar a viabilidade de uma aproximação entre a Educação Profissional e Tecnológica e a tradição cultural do Noroeste Fluminense tendo como alicerce a manifestação cultural da Folia de Reis, presente na quase totalidade dos municípios que compõe a região. O estudo foi realizado mediante a aplicação de uma proposta de aprendizagem cooperativa articulando dois eixos da Educação Básica para a produção do conhecimento acerca do tema. O primeiro eixo aconteceu na Escola Municipal João Francisco Braz no município de Porciúncula, numa proposta de articulação do Ensino Fundamental, segundo segmento, com a Educação Profissional e Tecnológica. O segundo eixo se concretizou junto ao Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia Fluminense campus Itaperuna, através da turma do segundo ano do Curso Técnico Integrado ao Ensino Médio em Informática. Como instrumentos metodológicos foram empregados entrevistas individuais e a técnica de grupos focais que buscaram estabelecer a construção do conhecimento acerca da Folia de Reis e a colaboração entre os dois níveis educacionais, destacando- se entre as metodologias a pesquisa-ação. A pesquisa contempla a construção de um website (objeto de aprendizagem), intitulado “Museu Folia de Reis”, protagonizado pelos alunos, visando à construção do conhecimento acerca do patrimônio cultural imaterial regional e promover, a partir do contato com a Educação Profissional, a formação integral desses alunos.

The following dissertation presents the results of the application of a cooperative learning proposal whose object of study was the immaterial cultural heritage represented by the Folia de Reis here understood as a ritual expression of groups of devotees of holy kings. The work was carried out in the Northwest Fluminense region, more specifically the Itaperuna microregion. The main objective of this research was to analyze the feasibility of an approximation between Professional and Technological Education and the cultural tradition of the Northwest Fluminense, having as basis the cultural manifestation of Folia de Reis, present in almost all the municipalities that make up the region. The study was carried out through the application of a cooperative learning proposal articulating two axes of Basic Education for the production of knowledge about the theme. The first axis took place at the João Francisco Braz Municipal School in the municipality of Porciúncula, in a proposal for the articulation of Elementary Education, second segment, with Professional and Technological Education. The second axis took shape with the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology Fluminense campus Itaperuna, through the second year class of the Integrated Technical Course for High School in Informatics. As methodological instruments, individual interviews and focus groups were used that sought to establish the construction of knowledge about the Folia de Reis and the collaboration between the two educational levels, standing out among the research-action methodologies. The research contemplates the construction of a website (learning object), entitled “Museu Folia de Reis”, led by the students, aiming at building knowledge about the regional intangible cultural heritage and promoting, through contact with Professional Education, the comprehensive training of these students.
