Enfrentamento ao assédio moral: site de informação à comunidade do IFFluminense

O assédio moral consiste em uma comunicação hostil e sistemática direcionada por um ou
mais indivíduos a uma pessoa que se encontra em situação indefesa. O ambiente escolar não está
livre das situações de assédio, mesmo aquele voltado à Educação Profissional e Tecnológica. A
pesquisa de Beltrame (2018) nas instituições federais de Ensino Superior detectou que mais da
metade delas não adota práticas educativas em relação ao assédio moral e sexual em ambiente de
trabalho. Portanto, este trabalho tem como objetivo apresentar uma abordagem sobre o assédio
moral nos ambientes de trabalho do Instituto Federal de Educação, Profissional e Tecnológica,
Campus Macaé, com o objetivo geral de traçar um instrumento de informação acessível aos
profissionais e estudantes do IFFluminense sobre o assédio moral nos ambientes de trabalho e dos
dispositivos institucionais de enfrentamento de tais casos. Os objetivos específicos são:
compreender o conceito de assédio moral e as situações que o caracterizam; investigar se/como o
assédio moral é tratado nas instituições; verificar o conhecimento da comunidade acadêmica do
Instituto Federal Fluminense Campus Macaé sobre o assédio moral e sobre os respectivos
mecanismos para combatê-lo; montar um website para agrupar as informações institucionais e
outras informações sobre prevenção ao assédio a fim de facilitar a localização das mesmas. Para
isso foram feitos, pesquisa bibliográfica a partir do portal de periódicos da Capes, pesquisa
documental no Centro de Documentação Digital do IFF e pesquisa de campo com aplicação de
questionário on-line direcionado aos servidores do campus, além do desenvolvimento de produto
educacional. Verificamos que o IFF até iniciou a discussão sobre o assunto, mas as ações realizadas
por servidores em seus campi ainda são tímidas e não alcançaram a abrangência institucional. No
presente, não há registros sistematizados de possíveis ocorrências de assédio na instituição. As
respostas ao questionário indicaram que a comunidade possui dúvidas quanto à caracterização do
assédio moral. Por isso, espera-se que esse trabalho represente uma contribuição para reflexões e
práticas quanto ao tratamento da questão.

Moral harassment is a hostile and systematic communication directed by one or more
individuals to a person who is in a defenseless situation. The school environment is not free from
harassment situations, even those aimed at Vocational and Technological Education. Beltrame's
research (2018) in federal higher education institutions found that more than half of them do not
adopt educational practices in relation to moral and sexual harassment in the workplace.
Therefore, this work aims to present an approach on moral harassment in the work environments of
the Federal Institute of Education, Professional and Technological, Campus Macaé, with the
general objective of drawing up an instrument of information accessible to professionals and
students of IFFluminense about the moral harassment in work environments and institutional
devices for dealing with such cases. The specific objectives are: to understand the concept of moral
harassment and the situations that characterize it; investigate if/how moral harassment is treated in
institutions; verify the knowledge of the academic community of the Instituto Federal Fluminense
Campus Macaé about moral harassment and about the respective mechanisms to combat it; set up
a website to group institutional information and other information on harassment prevention in
order to make it easier to find them. For this, bibliographical research was carried out from the
Capes journal portal, documentary research at the IFF Digital Documentation Center and field
research with the application of an on-line questionnaire directed to the campus servers, in addition
to the development of an educational product. We verified that the IFF even started the discussion
on the subject, but the actions carried out by servers on their campuses are still timid and have not
reached the institutional scope. At present, there are no systematic records of possible occurrences
of harassment in the institution. The answers to the questionnaire indicated that the community has
doubts about the characterization of moral harassment. Therefore, it is expected that this work
represents a contribution to reflections and practices regarding the treatment of the issue.
